It is expected that the number of hotel rooms in Dubai to rise to 109 thousand rooms before the end of 2016, with the entry of 13 thousand new hotel rooms to the market during the year, according to published "the statement newspaper."
The newspaper quoted a study by the consulting firm Viapeleta that "the Dubai market still is one of the most attractive markets for major hotel brands, which is planning to open more of the hotel facilities in the emirate over the next four years."
She added that during the next three years will enter the Dubai market 37,500 hotel rooms, including 13 thousand rooms in this year represent 34% of the total number of rooms which will enter the market until 2019.
During the next year the emirate receives 11 thousand rooms, and in the following year will enter the market 10 thousand rooms, and 3,500 rooms by 2019, the total number of rooms for up to 162 315 room with year-end 2019.
