Interview-DAE expects 30-35 deal planes in 2016




Dubai February 7 (Reuters) - Chief Executive Officer of DAE, said Sunday that the company, one of the aircraft leasing of the few companies in the Gulf expects to add between 30 and 35 aircraft to its existing portfolio, which includes 97 aircraft in light of the expected increase in demand after the lifting of sanctions on Iran.

Iran agreed that sanctions prevented it from buying aircraft lawfully with European manufacturers last month to buy up to 158 aircraft, but delivery of these aircraft may take several years.

Feroze Tarapur said in an interview with Reuters that Iranian airlines will look to aircraft leasing available immediately when he received the European aircraft.
"We hope to book between 30 and 35 and other aircraft will be diversified demand among broad aircraft hull, aircraft and skinny with a turbine engine."
