Qatar Airways acquires "Novotel Edinburgh Park" hotel

Qatar Airways has announced its acquisition of "Novotel Edinburgh Park" in the Scottish capital Edinburgh, the second hotel buys tanker outside the State of Qatar after the Sheraton Skyline at Heathrow Airport in London hotel


A press release issued by the company yesterday that the Novotel Edinburgh Park hotel will remain under the management of Accor company, which will be managed and operated under the name Novotel where the company operates more than 3,700 upscale hotel around the world
The statement added that the Novotel Edinburgh Park Hotel is the second hotel buy airline outside the State of Qatar as well as owned Oryx Rotana Hotel and the new management Hamad International Airport Hotel, the first hotel Tsthozh tanker is the Sheraton Skyline at Heathrow Airport in London
The statement said that the hotel was built in 2007/2008 and includes 170 rooms and suites and five rooms designed for multi-use meetings
For his part, Mr. Akbar Al Baker, chief executive of Qatar Airways, said: "The Novotel Edinburgh Park Hotel is an excellent addition to travel services that we provide as complements our hotel Oryx Rotana five-star in Doha and the Sheraton Skyline Hotel at Heathrow Airport and offers the convenience of travelers who wish to Spend some time in Edinburgh before to visit other parts of Scotland
Baker added that Qatar Airways has won numerous awards thanks to the quality of its services in the atmosphere including Best Business Class of "Business Traveller" 2014 prize award
