Palestinian tourism seeks to record archaeological sites World Heritage

The Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities seeking registration of a number of archaeological, historical and natural on the list of World Heritage sites, including the Valley Quilt, so as to improve tourism and the preservation of sites dating back thousands of years

The director of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in the city of Jericho, Iyad Hamdan: "We are working on a recording of wild area on the World Heritage List, which includes a number of monasteries, in addition to beautiful scenery, located in east Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Jericho areas
Among these areas Wadi Quilt or monastery Kelt, which runs from east Jerusalem until Jericho west along 45 kilometers and where there is water fountains and ancient Roman channels
